Sa-Ard has since moved back to the north of Thailand. He now lives in Mae Hee, a small village on the outskirts of Pai, in the Mae Hong Son Province, also called the valley of the three mists. He enjoys the somewhat cooler climate with his wife and two children and spends his time nourishing their small gallery at the foot of the mountains that surround the Pai valley.
