“Nature
is balanced and provides many answers for life.
Nature survives through giving and sharing; an intricate balance
that must continually adapt in order to evolve – life feeds
on life. Nature and humans have lived together as one for thousands of years. We learn so much from nature. Just as nature works as a whole; humans like to spend time together. Concerts, festivals, parties, exhibitions enable this. It is during these times that we find happiness. Relationships between humans interest me. Happiness can be seen in all kinds of relationships; friendship, marriage, love, passion and this is apparent whatever the colour, creed or religion. I paint Semi-abstract (abstract and realism combined). I use shape, form, line, colour, volume and texture to express my thoughts of life; to express the happiness and love that I am so fortunate to see in everyday life. Humans are an ideal subject to explore love and happiness, peace and friendship. I try to capture and express the feelings and emotions that humans enjoy.” |
